Start monitoring your first domain
On every plan
Confirm your email address, name your organization, then add the domain you send email from, such as example.com. The domain gets its own address for reports, and the next step is to publish its DMARC record.
Sign up and confirm your address
Sign-up asks for your email address and a password. We send a link to that address, and you open it to finish creating your account. The link works for 3 days. If nothing arrives, check the spam folder, then sign in to get a new link.
Name your organization
An organization owns your domains and has your members. Most people name it after their company. We suggest a name from your email address: anna@example.com suggests "Example". A personal mailbox, such as a Gmail address, suggests nothing. Change the suggestion as you like before you create the organization.
You become the organization's admin.
Add the domain
On the Overview or Domains page, press Add domain. Type the domain you send email from, such as example.com, and add it. The domain's Home tab opens next, with the records to publish. We check a new domain's DNS straight away, so its DNS tab and the record builder start from what your DNS already says. If you removed the domain and add it again within your plan's check interval, that check is not repeated: press Check now on its DNS tab.
The form refuses three kinds of name:
- An IP address.
- A public suffix such as
comorco.uk, which nobody owns. Add the domain you registered under it, such as example.co.uk. - A domain that is already in the organization.
If you paste a web address or an email address, the form says it is not a domain name and suggests the domain it found in it, such as example.com for https://www.example.com/. It never changes what you typed by itself.
Names with letters such as ä or ö work as you type them.
Only an admin of the organization can add domains.
Subdomains appear by themselves
Add the domain itself, not each subdomain. When a report covers mail sent from a subdomain, such as news.example.com, the subdomain appears under its domain by itself. It needs no verification of its own, and it does not count toward the domains your plan covers.
How many domains your plan covers
Starter covers 1 domain. Pro includes 5 domains, Teams includes 10 domains and Enterprise includes 25 domains. On a paid plan, each domain above the included ones costs 1 EUR a month, or 10 EUR a year on a yearly plan. The prices exclude VAT. Which plan has what I need? lists what else each plan includes.
Next, publish the domain's DMARC record. It starts the reports and proves the domain is yours.
