How long do you keep my reports?
On every plan
Your plan sets how far back you can see your reports. We call that your history. Every night we delete what has become older than it. The history on each plan:
- Starter: 30 days
- Pro: 13 months
- Teams: 25 months
- Enterprise: 37 months
Every screen with dates says how far back it can go. On Starter, the same sentence says how much the next plan keeps.
What the history covers
The history covers aggregate reports, forensic reports, TLS reports and the raw files they arrived in. A report older than your history is deleted together with its raw file. Until then you can download the raw file on every plan.
The same history applies to every domain of the organization, its subdomains and its archived domains.
What is kept for a different time
- Daily totals and sources stay 30 days longer than the reports, so trend charts do not stop short at the edge of your history.
- The DNS change history keeps 13 months of record changes, on every plan.
- Alerts are deleted 13 months after they end, on every plan.
An export file is not part of your history. We delete it 7 days after it is ready.
Which day a report belongs to
A report covers a period that the mailbox provider sets, and providers set it in UTC. The screens show it as UTC days and write "(UTC)" after the date. The windows you pick, such as the last seven days, also count whole UTC days, so a day starts and ends at the same moment for everyone, whatever time zone a member has.
When you change plan
When the organization moves to a lower plan, nothing is deleted for 14 days. During that time the history of the plan you left still applies. After it, the lower plan's history applies, and the next night's run deletes the reports older than that.
A higher plan keeps more from the day you move. Reports that were already deleted do not come back.
