Delete the organization or your account

On every plan

An admin deletes the organization under Settings, Data and privacy. It takes effect at once: every member loses access, and report mail is refused. A nightly job deletes its reports, records and settings 30 days after the deletion, and after that nothing of it is left. Deleting your own account is separate, and it takes any organization where you are the only member with it.

Before you delete

Download everything you want to keep first. The archive is deleted with the organization. See Download all your organization's data.

Delete the organization

Open Settings, then Data and privacy. Only admins can delete the organization. If you signed in more than 5 minutes ago, we first ask you to confirm it is you.
Select Delete everything.
Type the organization's name to confirm, and select Delete everything again.

What stops at once

Every member loses access, and open invitations stop working.
Report mail to the organization's addresses is refused.
Its Cloudflare connection, alert channels and exports are deleted.
API tokens are revoked and connected apps are disconnected. Webhook endpoints, relays and share links are turned off.
A paid plan ends at once. There is no refund for the rest of the current period.
We email every admin that the organization was deleted.

When it is final

A nightly job deletes the organization's reports, records and settings 30 days after the deletion. After that nothing of it is left, and nobody can bring it back. Backups that still hold them are replaced within a further 30 days.

Delete your account

Open Settings, then Profile, and select Delete your account. If you signed in more than 5 minutes ago, we first ask you to confirm it is you.
Type your email address to confirm, and select Delete your account again.

Deleting your account takes effect at once and cannot be undone. We delete your email address, your sign-in methods and your memberships, and send one last email to confirm it. Backups that still hold them are replaced within 30 days.

Any organization where you are the only member is deleted with your account, in the same way as above.

You cannot delete your account while you are the only admin of an organization that has other members. Make someone else an admin first, or remove the other members. Invite members and change roles shows how.
