Download all your organization's data

On every plan

An admin can download one zip file with everything the organization has: every report message as the mailbox provider sent it, each report's XML, every record, forensic and TLS report, and the settings. Open Settings, Data and privacy and select Download everything. We email you a link when the file is ready.

Download it

  1. Open Settings, then Data and privacy. Only admins see this page. If you signed in more than 5 minutes ago, we first ask you to confirm it is you.
  2. Select Download everything. We build the file in the background.
  3. We email you a link when it is ready. The link works for 7 days. Until then, the same page also offers Download the archive.

The organization builds one export at a time, and exports that members start from a domain's reports or through the API count too. If one is already being built, start yours once it is ready.

What is in the file

A README.txt in the zip explains each file, in your language. The other files:

  • organization.json: the organization, its members and their roles, every domain and subdomain, sources with their labels, alert rules, the names of alert channels, and every DNS record value we have seen. It also lists API tokens by name and prefix, the apps members connected, webhook endpoints, and each domain's relay and share link.
  • domains/<name>/raw/: every report message we still hold, exactly as the mailbox provider sent it, in folders by the day it arrived.
  • domains/<name>/aggregate/: each aggregate report's own file, taken out of its message.
  • domains/<name>/records.ndjson: every aggregate report row, one JSON object per line. It is the same format as the export on each domain's reports page.
  • domains/<name>/forensic.ndjson: every forensic report we store, one per line, redacted if your organization stores them redacted.
  • domains/<name>/tls.ndjson: every TLS report policy, one per line, with its failures.

Reports older than your plan's history are no longer held, so they are not in the file.

What is left out

Secrets, alert channel addresses, API token values, webhook endpoint addresses and share link addresses are left out.

Your own data

Any member can download their own data. Open Settings, Profile and select Download your data. You get one JSON file, personal-data.json, with your profile, your email addresses, your sign-in methods without their secrets, and your memberships.
