Get a summary by email, and choose how often

From Pro up

Go to Settings → Notifications. Under Your email, choose how often in Email me a summary, and save. The choice is yours alone and holds for this organization only. Every other member chooses for themselves.

Which schedules your plan offers

Pro sends a summary every week. From Teams up, each member picks every day, every week or every month. On a plan without summaries, the page says which plan includes them.

Every member starts on the weekly summary. If the organization moves to a plan that does not include your choice, you get no summary, but the choice stays saved and works again on a plan that includes it.

When it arrives

Summaries go out from 08:00 in your own time zone, which you set on Settings → Profile:

  • The daily summary covers yesterday.
  • The weekly summary comes on Monday and covers Monday to Sunday of the week before.
  • The monthly summary comes on the 1st and covers the month before.

The notifications page says when your next summary is due. No summary goes out while the organization has no verified domain.

What it contains

The summary is in your language. For each domain it has:

  • How many messages mailbox providers reported, and the share that passed DMARC, beside the same figure for the period before.
  • The new sources first seen in the period, largest first, with the rest counted.
  • How much mail came from unidentified sources that never pass DMARC.
  • The open alerts, the most serious first, with the rest counted.
  • Where the domain stands on readiness, and one next step.

It lists up to 10 domains: those with the most open warnings first, then those with the most mail. The rest are counted, with a link to the overview.

Post it to a chat channel

From Teams up, an admin can also post a summary to a shared chat channel, such as Slack or Microsoft Teams. Under Shared channels on the same page, pick a schedule in Send a summary here beside the channel. A channel has no time zone, so its summary goes out at 08:00 UTC, in the organization's default language.

Stop it

Every summary ends with a link, Stop these summaries. Stop or restart alert and summary emails says what it does and how to get the summary back.
